OUR STORY
My love for vintage started long before Violet and Minnie ever existed. I was about 15 years old in Brooklyn, New York when I found a set of Dresden Christmas ornaments - delicate, rare, and unlike anything I had ever seen. I didn’t know it then, but that moment stayed with me. It wasn’t just about the ornaments themselves, but the feeling of discovering something beautiful that carried history and meaning. From that point on, I was hooked.
Over the years, estate sales, flea markets, and antique stores became part of my world. I was never looking for trends or inventory, just pieces that made me stop, feel something, and imagine their story.
That passion eventually led me to Orange County, California, where collecting turned into something bigger. Violet and Minnie, named after my two grandmothers, became a way to share what I had always loved, carefully chosen vintage pieces with character, history, and heart.
Today, that same passion continues both online and at Booth Eight inside the Pomona Antique Mart.

Two Stores, One Family
Violet and Minnie and Booth Eight are connected through family, a shared passion, and a lifelong love of vintage.
One lives online and the other inside The Pomona Antique Mart, but both come from the same place ...a true family affair with myself, my husband, my daughters, their husbands, and our grandchildren all playing a part in making it happen.
Together, we are collecting, creating, and building something rooted in what we’ve always loved for as long as we can remember.
